Found an article about how Government contract companies (mainly within the DC / Northern Virginia area) continue to thrive, even in these tough times where most budgets are down. Thought I would share. It’s interesting to note because most networking and IT infrastructure support companies are facing down budgets, cut backs on training and so much more from the tough economy. Government contract firms like the Beltway Bandits in the DC area thrive.

I often wonder why the network consulting industry doesn’t operate quite the same as many other industries, like education, home improvement, legal etc. IT support companies in the small to middle sized range all seem to get their business from traditional sources like grass roots, PPC advertising and general advertising. For some reason there is not an prevalent network consulting lead generation industry out there…

Maybe that’s coming soon since online customer acquisition and online lead gen seems to be growing at a staggering rate.. We’ll see.
